APEGBC is the licensing body in British Columbia for professional engineers and geoscientists. The association regulates the practice and actions of the professionals in the name of public interest. They have a legal standing to do this under the legislation of the “Engineers and Geoscientists Act.”
The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists also serves to support the professionals that make up its’ membership. Working to progress professional conduct, accountability, and excellence, they are a positive driving force for the engineering community.

Will you graduate? Maybe take a look in the UBC Calendar to see if you have all your credits, or talk to an academic counsellor, that is what they are there for.

1. Cheeze Mixer (Date TBA) – Co-hosted by the Vancouver branch of APEGBC, a panel will present the benefits and procedures of becoming a Professional Engineer. The presentation will be followed by a mixer event so that current APEG members and presenters can answer individual questions.
2. E-Fest (Date TBA) – As part of the national Engineering Week, UBC engineering student teams will have an opportunity to showcase their projects.
3. Salary Seminar (Date TBA)
