The first two weeks back at school are all about showing first years what UBC Engineering is all about! These two weeks are filled with fun events, competitions, tons of free food and drinks AND MORE PRIZES THAN YOU CAN HANDLE!!! SCIENCE!!!! ENERGY!!!! More information will be available soon! Frosh Retreat – September 17-19, 2010
The one event you can’t miss! An all-inclusive weekend retreat specifically for first years, this is the best way to get to know your fellow PP’s and meet older, wiser students. For many students, it’s the best memory of all first year.
Activities may include drinking, eating, swimming, drinking, sports, movies, adventures, drinking, and of course, a bonfire! Tickets are available during Frosh Week from EUS executives or Spirit Coordinators.

Meet Your Profs Luncheon
Don’t know what department you want to go into next year? Worried about your massive 35-credit course load? This is a perfect opportunity to get to know your profs and faculty members outside of the lecture hall and get some pointers on making the most of your first year at UBC. Free food and drinks!
E-ball soccer
An EUS favourite! There’s nothing quite like seeing a crowd of people chasing a 6-foot-diameter soccer ball down Main Mall. Warning: don’t try to head the ball.
Cheeze Open House/BBQ
Massive free BBQ! Come hang out at the Cheeze, grab a free burger and drink, and get to know your EUS Exec and council.
True Engineer
Show off your MacGyver-like talents in a challenge of your engineering skilss by building a working toilet out of nothing but small pebbles and pocket lint! Or… something like that.
