E-Week
E-Week (February 1-6, 2010)
The only week that really matters. E-Week is a giant week-long competition between each department in Engineering. Classes become secondary through the week as teams are awarded points for each event based on performance, attendance, and spirit, and at the end, only one department will stand victorious as the Best! Godiva Band March
In times of old, dozens of Engineers clad in Reds, known as the Godiva Band, would provide music and spirit at many events. Join the band for the annual Godiva Band March!
Old Red New Red
Set over an all you can eat buffet, you can meet the engineering Alumni of UBC, as they regale stories from the past, talk about stunts that you wouldn’t believe, and provide tips for engineering students for the future.
Filmfeust
Every year, engineers gather at the norm theatre in the SUB to see movies that each department has made. Ranging from the simple cut and paste job to high class special-effects-laden film, Filmfeust is always an event worth going to.
81st Annual Engineers’ Ball
This highly prestigious event is held at the end of every E-week. Set in a fancy hotel, providing guests with a full course meal, the winning department of E-week is announced here. Tickets to this very popular event sell out fast, so make sure to keep your ears open for the announcement from your departmental club.
