Movember
For the whole month of November, grow the most stylish Mo (moustache) you can to raise awareness for prostate cancer! If you cannot grow a Mo, don’t feel left out: you can still participate by wearing a fake moustache, purchased from Red Sales or the EUS Charity Coordinators, Diane and Katherine. The EUS has a team registered on the Movember Canada website called mEUStacular, and anyone can join! Just follow these simple steps:
1. Go to the Movember Canada Website here: http://ca.movember.com/
2. Click on REGISTER
3. Fill in the Sign-up form as a Team Member (“Join a team”) and enter your information
4. Type in “mEUStacular” as your team name
5. Click JOIN to join the team (Katherine Babcock is the captain)
6. Personalize yo MO SPACE!
7. Bask in the awesomeness of your Mo Space
8. Get fundraising!
There are lots of prizes to be won both individually and as a team, including E-Mo patches for those who raise over $100.
There are a few simple worldwide Movember rules for those of you growing a Mo:
1. You must start the month with a clean shaven face.
2. There is to be no joining of the Mo to side burns – That’s a beard.
3. There is to be no joining of the handlebars – That’s a goatee.
4. A small complimentary growth under the bottom lip is allowed (aka a tickler)
If you’re not up for joining the team, you can still participate in Movember by donating to any mEUStacular team member, or by buying an E-Mo pin or a moustache from us.
We have an auction planned for November 15th at 5pm in Kaiser 2020/2030. Everyone is welcome to come out and have a good time while supporting mEUStacular!

UBC Engineers are not only smart, charming, and ridiculously good looking. We also like to help out those in need, and assist charity organizations by donating blood, pie-ing people to support orphans, and growing stylin’ moustaches in support of prostate cancer research.
PI in the Face

Know anyone who just really needs a good cream pie to the face? Give us a name, time, and a place, and send a pie to any target you choose for only $10 – be it a mortal enemy, prof, or an annoying friend. But there’s a catch: the target has the option to redirect the pie to any person (including the sender) by matching the original bid. The price then doubles every two redirects, until someone steps up and hilariously accepts their fate.

* Drinks will be given in the form of drink ticket(s) to Red Knight for the first session.
Bug Push
New this year! Raise money for charity by pushing a Volkswagen Bug around campus for 24 hours. Stay tuned for more info on this event.
Charity Patches
Patches are awarded at the end of every school year to those individuals who have accumulated a certain amount of charity points. The instructions on what activities count and how to determine your point count can be found on the second page of the Charity Points Form. If you are graduating in December please make sure to hand in the forms by mid November and notify the charity coordinators so you can recieve your patches before you leave UBC.
