Did you know a new Engineering Student Center is currently being planned?
This exciting project is intended to provide approximately 9,000 sq ft of space dedicated to student use! The EUS has been working on this project for over 2 years, but we need your feedback! Come out to to the first of three consultation days on Tuesday, November 3rd in Kaiser 2020/2030! All sessions are drop-in, so stop by if you have some spare time. The schedule of sessions is provided below:
11am-12pm: Open House and Q&A, Project siting and general concept
1pm-2:30pm: Design Roundtable, Sustainability

UBC’s Sustainability Office has joined forces with the Small Energy Group to provide real time energy information to the occupants of five buildings.
In an effort to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and save money on operations, UBC’s faculty, staff and students are being given access to this innovative software tool, which is now in its Beta form. If this pilot project is shown to enhance UBC’s energy conservation efforts, it will be rolled out in approximately 100 buildings around the campus.
