“Just a reminder that the deadline for application submissions for the 2008 APEG-MAPS scholarships is Friday October 31, 2008. If you are interested in applying, please submit your application by the deadline.

APEG-MAPS members are eligible to apply for the APEG-MAPS University Undergraduate scholarship. Valued at $1,000 each, these scholarships are offered annually to APEG-MAPS members attending engineering and geoscience programs in BC, and reward undergraduate students for their contributions to the advancement of the professions. The EUS is currently accepting funding proposals for initiatives that will benefit the whole of engineering students at UBC. Proposals can range from amounts in the hundreds to tens of thousands. Please make sure to only submit serious initiatives, and proposals which will serve to better the experience for all Engineering students.

Forms can be submitted by email to the VP Finance (vpfinance@ubcengineers.ca) by Oct. 10th at 5:00pm.
