Beef and Pizza

You bring the beef, we’ll bring the pizza! Come out on Thursday, November 26th to voice your academic concerns (including curriculum and co-op concerns) and offer suggestions for how to improve engineering at UBC. You can also find out how the EUS and the faculty have been working to address previous issues. There will be a free pizza and pop for lunch, but be sure to RSVP to voice@ubcengineers.ca to ensure there’s enough pizza for you! If you are unable to make it, you can still send your concerns to voice@ubcengineers.ca.

Engineers will be storming Thunderbird Arena! Be sure to come out, wear RED, and cheer for the UBC Thunderbirds as they compete against Lethbridge! And, as a special treat, during the first intermission, the Engineering Knights Hockey Team will be suiting up and playing against Forestry!

Movemberauction

The EUS is hosting a Movember Charity Auction this Friday at 5PM at the Cheeze!

Movember is a global movement that is bringing much needed attention to prostate cancer and men’s health issues. Grow a moustache through the month of Movember (formerly known as November), and collect donations! All donations and proceeds from the auction will go to Prostate Cancer Canada(for a full list of the items being auctioned, click “more”). We will also be having a beer garden, starting at 7; all profits also go to Prostate Cancer Canada. (more…)
