The Student Leadership Conference is UBC’s largest student-run conference, providing over 1100 delegates with the opportunity to develop their leadership skills through engaging workshops and speakers. This year’s conference will take place on January 9, 2010.
The Engineering Undergraduate Society will be sponsoring students to attend. To apply for this sponsorship, please fill out the application below and email it to vpexternal@ubcengineers.ca. This year’s conference will feature a multitude of workshops, guest speakers, roundtable discussions, and activities focusing on women’s involvement in the engineering and science industries. There will also be many networking, career building and educational opportunities with various companies and organizations spread across the three days. But best of all, NCWIE also serves as an excellent platform to meet with other bright and motivated engineering students from all across the country as well as successful women from the industry.
