Thank you to all who participated in the Movember 2011 campaign!
Together, our faculty under the mEUStacular team, raised $2,163 for research in prostate cancer and brought awareness to men’s health issues in part through pledging to grow moustaches through month of November. A big shout out to Diane Currie and Katherine Babcock, the EUS charity coordinators for heading up this effort.
Below are some highlights!
Charity Coordinators Diane Currie and Katherine Babcock are seen her with the EUS VP Academic Jack Park. Diane and Katherine were captains of team mEUStacular, and raised several hundred dollars on top of individual fundraising through events like the Movember Charity Auciton, coin collections and food and drink sales!
John Tuytel with his dashing mo’ here is this year’s top individual fundraiser!
Dale Heffernan, Co-Geological Engineering President is also a top contributor raising over $99, earning him the prestigious Movember patch!
Will McEwan, Mechanical Engineering Club President shows us his impressive variation of the Fu Man Chu Mustache, and is also a winner of the Movember Patch!
Kevin Sipila, Co-Chemical Engineering President shows off his mustache! Many engineering clubs or individual groups of students also helped the fundraising efforts by setting their own goals or growing the mustaches as teams of friends.
Your resident enEUS editor and Sigma Phi Delta President also earned himself a movember patch and is the 2nd highest fundraiser!
Ian Campbell, your EUS VP Finance, shows that quantity of hair does not dictate quality of how to properly wear a mustache
