So Bob Orlando has suggest what may be the best idea to come out of the Events portfolio.
This year, and years in the past, we’ve used microbrews at our events. They have the best quality/cost ratio and it helps support the Vancouver beer seen. Thus far this year we’ve been using Storm Brewing (Who are excellent BTW), but we want to see if they’re truly the best.
What Bob has suggested is that at the start of each school year (and possibly this Jan) we have a beer tasting festival. We bring out a tonne of microbrews from around the lower mainland and let you all decide which you like best. The winner of this competition will get our sole business for the school year. We hope that doing this will both add a completely new event to Events portfolio, and maybe save the EUS some money. This savings would of course be passed on to you…..
IN THE FORM OF LOONIE LAGER.
What do you guys think?
