Hi, my name is Will, I am a second year ECE student, currently running for the position of VP COM AD. I have been actively involved with the EUS for the past two years, most notably with the ESC project, which is currently underway. Some of you may be aware of the transition that went past last year, in which the EUS constitution was completely reworked, and the old positions of Publicity Rep and Secretary was revamped into the new position of VP Communications and Administrations. I myself saw the changes that went by, and believe that the position now holds a lot of potential. If elected, I plan to revamp the engineering newsletter, adding new content, a new look, and best of all, make it into something all engineering students can look forward to reading every other week. I’m also interested in making similar changes to the UBC engineering website, so I am totally pumped for that. I have a lot of things I want to do for the EUS, for all engineering students, and it doesn’t matter if I have to skip class or lose sleep, I will do everything I can to make your experience as a UBC engineer that much better.
