Hi I’m Andrew Carne and I’m running to be one of the three EUS representatives on the AMS Council this year. Over the past year, I have held this position and I have greatly enjoyed my time on Council.
I am in the progress of working on several major projects, mostly through the Code & Policy committee that I sit on, and I look forward to being able to continue working on these projects in this upcoming
year.
I feel that it’s very important to elect representatives that both feel strongly about being involved with the AMS as well as maintaining good communication lines between the societies. As your representative
to the AMS I will ensure that communication lines are open and any important initiatives or events that will be happening are accurately conveyed to Engineering students.
I know that I have the necessary experience and drive for this position, as I have shown through my extensive involvement with the EUS over the past 3 years, as well as my current seat on AMS Council. I look forward to serving as your representative in the upcoming year!
